Zieher Dekanter / Karaffen Decanter Pebble h: 30 cm / 1.8 L

The characteristic design feature of »Pebble« reveals itself only at second glance. The decanter seems at first like a äußerst stylish, but »normal« wine carafe. On closer inspection, you can see three depressions at the bottom of the wine decanter. These depressions have a natural, organic shape, like pebbles formed by water. Hence the name of the decanter: pebble is called in English »Pebble«.

The special design of the neck of the decanter allows the primary supply of oxygen to the wine, since the liquid runs along the entire inner surface when pouring. When the wine hits the troughs in the bottom, the gentle swirling causes an additional supply of oxygen. This effect can be enhanced by gently swirling the wine in the decanter. When serving, the sloping neck with its carefully polished cut edges ensures an almost drip-free pouring.

»Pebble« is mouth-blown and elaborately handcrafted from high quality crystal glass. The high quality standards of the brand Zieher requires a great skill and many years of experience of the glassmakers.

The design for »Pebble« comes from the designer Itamar Harari. Harari comes from Tel Aviv, studied architecture in Florence and worked for renowned studios. Today he owns his own design studio in Milan, Italy.
