The name says it all: The decanter »Doppio« (Ital.: double) offers the wine a two-part Bühne – a spectacular optical and at the same time functional design feature. It is only when the decanter is filled that the unusual inner life of the decanter is revealed to the observer: the wine is distributed over two different levels. This creates a purely visual "aha" effect and at the same time optimizes the supply of oxygen to the wine. Thanks to the enlarged surface, the wine can develop faster and better in this special decanter than in conventional wine carafes. Its geometric lines, the almost technical appearance and the inside »floating« wine make it an absolute eye-catcher.

»Doppio« is made in elaborate handwork. It is made of high-quality borosilicate glass, which is also used for laboratory glassware, as the surface of this robust type of glass is extremely smooth and repellent, making it easy to clean.

Designed »Doppio« by Itamar Harari für Zieher. The designer hails from Tel Aviv, studied architecture in Florence and worked for large Italian studios before founding his own design studio in Milan. Harari's architectural roots are unmistakable in the decanter »Doppio«
