What brings people together at a table and into conversation? This question was explored by more than 40 product designers as part of a major competition to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Philip Rosenthal studio-line. The most creative answer to this project was provided by Judith Schöpke from the design office Torux in Dresden. Her MemoryOneHundred combines 18 pairs of porcelain playing cards, which find their place in a grid made of oak wood. The black and white motifs of the memory cards all revolve around the visionary business leader Philip Rosenthal studio-line. They provide an overview of history and tell stories of diversity and history through distinctive porcelain shapes and personalities.
