Zwiesel Glass | Crystal Glass with a Special Touch

The history of Zwiesel Glass dates back to 1872. This year marked the beginning of glassblowing in the Bavarian Forest, with handmade collections representing the highest level of glass art. The company Zwiesel Glass – formerly Zwiesel Crystal Glass – includes the brand itself as well as Schott Zwiesel and Jenaer Glas. At Zwiesel Glass, drinkware series are created that perfectly combine form and function. Traditional craftsmanship meets innovative technologies here. Mouth-blown collections are a core competence of the glass brand. This manufacturing process has a long tradition and requires immense skill, a deep understanding of the material glass, and years of experience from the glassmakers. The innovative capability of Zwiesel Glass is evident in research and development. The unique Tritan® crystal glass is lead and barium-free, impressing with properties such as extreme brilliance, dishwasher safety, and robustness. Besides everyday usability and design, the sound is also a quality feature of good glasses. The fine tone that resonates when clinking Zwiesel glasses is unmistakable and has become a trademark of these crystal glasses »with a special touch«.

»Handmade« glasses by Zwiesel Glass are appreciated by connoisseurs worldwide. The brand has made a name for itself, especially with its functional and breathtakingly beautiful wine glasses. These include series like »The Moment«, »Enoteca«, »Simplify«, and of course »Air Sense«, the collection with the integrated decanting ball. Matching all red and white wine glasses, there are decanters that perfectly combine aesthetics, functionality, and enjoyment. Renowned designers also work for the company: The multiple award-winning product designer Sebastian Herkner has designed the »Journey« collection for Zwiesel Glass. In close collaboration with bar legend Charles Schumann, the bar glass series »Bar Premium« and »Marlène« were created - a skillful homage to genuine, classic bar culture.
