Zwiesel Glass »Simplify«
The design of the glass collection »Simplify« is based on a revolutionary approach to wine glasses: In this concept series by Zwiesel Glass, there is no longer a distinction between red wine glasses and white wine glasses. The glass shape in »Simplify« is oriented towards the profile and taste of the wine, not its color. This resulted in four wine glass shapes for the wine styles and aromas »Light & Fresh«, »Fruity & Fine«, »Velvety & Opulent«, and »Powerful & Spicy«. For example, the wine glass »Powerful & Spicy« is suitable for white wines like Silvaner, Chardonnay, and Sémillon as well as for red wines like Pinot Noir, Cabernet, Sauvignon, and Shiraz. The wines unfold their complex aroma optimally in this wine glass from the »Simplify« series.
The series is completed by an all-round tumbler for water and soft drinks and a sparkling wine glass »Light & Fresh« with a mousse point. This mousse point helps the carbon dioxide in the sparkling wine to form a fine perlage, which can rise perfectly through the so-called chimney of the glass. The glass experts at Zwiesel Glass have created a series with »Simplify« that is based on a few glass types, whose properties are precisely matched to the character of the contents.
