In close cooperation with the star chef and scene restaurateur Tim Raue, the gourmet glass series »Kolibri« by Zwiesel Glass was created. Tim Raue is a confessed wine enthusiast, and he shares a long-standing partnership with Zwiesel Glass. It was only natural to combine synergies and develop an exclusive wine glass collection together. The brilliant, mouth-blown glasses »Kolibri« meet the high demands of top gastronomy. Their delicate and minimalist design brings pure aesthetics to the table. The series Zwiesel Glass x Tim Raue »Kolibri« includes four stem glasses for red wine, Burgundy, white wine, and sparkling wine, as well as a tumbler as an all-rounder in three color variations.

The red wine / Riesling glass is characterized by a generous bowl shape that supports the development of wine aromas. It is ideal for red wines like Bordeaux and Cabernet Sauvignon as well as high-quality Riesling wines. The special red wine glass »Burgundy« with its voluminous bowl was created for the so-called »queen of wines«. For white wine and port, a glass was created whose precisely shaped bowl best promotes aroma development. The champagne glass with Zwiesel's typical integrated effervescence point optimizes the perlage and aroma development of fine sparkling wines. The »Kolibri« glass collection is rounded off by an all-round tumbler for water, juice, and soft drinks, available in the three color variants crystal, lemon, and rosé. The glasses of the series Zwiesel Glass x Tim Raue »Kolibri« are mouth-blown and handcrafted. They combine masterful traditional glassmaking with innovative design. Tim Raue is one of Germany's best and most renowned top chefs. Raue has also made a name for himself internationally, as his eponymous restaurant in Berlin »Tim Raue« is among the »World’s 50 Best Restaurants«. It is currently rated with two Michelin stars and five Gault Millau toques. The silhouette of a hummingbird is found in Tim Raue's logo.
