The tea collection »Coppa Kuro« by ASA SELECTION is multicultural: Japanese tea culture meets Italian naming, creating an exciting fusion. The series »Coppa«, Italian for cup, derives its name from the original form of a cup, found in all hollow parts. The teapot is available in two sizes, with a capacity of 0.6 and 1.0 liters. Each teapot is equipped with a stainless steel tea strainer. The light wooden handles of the teapots create a wonderful contrast to the dark porcelain. Matching the teapots, there are plates in various sizes, cups – with and without handles, and bowls in different sizes, which can be used as snack or sugar bowls, cereal bowls, Buddha bowls, soup bowls, salad bowls, fruit bowls, and much more.
»Kuro« means »black« in Japanese. This series uses innovative color glazes that create a special texture: matte and glossy surfaces alternate, creating unique pieces, as no part is identical to another in detail.
An attractive addition to the collection are the beautifully shaped oval wooden trays made of finely grained willow wood. Perfectly matched in size to the trays are the new oval snack plates and snack bowls made of porcelain. Another practical detail: the flat snack plates can also be used as lids for the deeper snack bowls.
