Especially young red wines need contact with oxygen to develop their optimal bouquet. Therefore, it is customary to open these wines a few hours before consumption and let them stand in the decanter. After pouring a regular 0.75 l wine bottle, the decanter is only half filled. Here, the contact area between wine and oxygen is maximized, thus providing the best conditions for the development of the bouquet.
The Celebration decanters facilitate pouring red wine to the very last drop. Due to the inwardly curved bottom, they can be held by the body of the decanter instead of the neck, allowing for a much more comfortable pouring. The No Drop Effect almost completely prevents the formation of drops on the rim of the glass and, consequently, the running of red wine on the outer wall of the decanter. Both the glass and your tablecloth are thus optimally protected against stains.
