ASA SELECTION »Nesuto«
The name of the ASA SELECTION collection »Nesuto« comes from Japanese and means »Nest«. It is inspired by the characteristic design of the porcelain pieces: The round, soft lines of »Nesuto« radiate - like a nest - security and comfort. A pleasant feeling that becomes increasingly important as a counterbalance to our hectic and noisy times. This dinnerware series is quite minimalist with the most essential items: There is a teapot in two sizes, with 1.2 and 2.0 liters capacity, along with handle mugs, two bowls in different sizes, and a selection of plates: bread plate, dessert/breakfast plate, dinner plate, and pasta/soup plate. The teapots are packaged in an attractive gift box.
Many items from »Nesuto« are multifunctional, as known from ASA: The bowls can be used as sugar bowls, snack, and dip bowls. The bread plate also serves as a snack plate and as a saucer for the handle mug. The deep plate can be used to serve salad, pasta, soup, or one-pot dishes. It is also perfect for desserts.
ASA »Nesuto« is available in two color variants: The gray-green shade »bonsai« is inspired by the Far Eastern bonsai art. Due to its natural coloring, »bonsai« harmonizes perfectly with fresh foods like vegetables and fruits. The color variant »fuji«, on the other hand, appears more massive and reminds of rock with its gray, shimmering structure. A fitting name, as »fuji« is the Japanese word for mountain. Due to the special, silky matte effect glaze, each item from ASA SELECTION »Nesuto« is unique.
