It all started with just three plates ... and today the Grande series is one of the most extensive classics in the ASA SELECTION selection. »Grande« stands for the Italian way of life and for Mediterranean cuisine. The pure, simple design is characteristic of ASA. Pomodoro, pasta & Co. come into their own on the high-quality white ceramic. Designing porcelain in such a way that its simplicity resonates with a good portion of emotion, that is the art of ASA.
One example of this is the large pasta plate with the wide rim, i.e. the rim: It is ideal for serving pasta dishes, but it also puts salads and desserts in the limelight. The asymmetrical »Vongole« bowls are a real eye-catcher on every table. Depending on their size, they are ideal for serving soup, salads and voluminous creations such as pasta with seafood. The Vongole bowls are matt on the outside and shiny on the inside. This attractive contrast, together with the unusual form, is an example of that skilful, certain something that makes the articles in the »Grande« collection so special. If you want a bit of color between all the white, the storage jars with the photo-realistic decors are just the thing: jam, herbs, tomatoes, onions and more are in good hands in the storage pots with plastic lids.
