A classic in the upscale country style from Villeroy & Boch: »French Garden«. The well-known and popular fruit decor adorns the traditional Louis XIV tableware shape, which was designed in 1780 in Septfontaines, Luxembourg. This characteristic shape has stood for the typical and successful country style of Villeroy & Boch since that time.
Sweet cherries, plump plums, crisp apples, and juicy lemons – the colorful fruit motifs are reminiscent of botanical drawings, lovingly detailed. These fresh fruit decors alternate in »French Garden« with soft yellow color areas, green ribbons, and ornaments. Villeroy and Boch French Garden - French savoir vivre with rustic charm
For around 300 years, the German manufacturer Villeroy & Boch has been conducting its business from Mettlach in Saarland. The varied natural landscapes of the tri-border area Germany - France - Luxembourg may have inspired unique porcelain designs: colorful decors with motifs from nature are characteristic of many porcelain lines of the traditional house. Fruits, fruits, or plants adorn the high-quality tableware in pop art style or in realistic painting. The product line Villeroy and Boch French Garden has been a popular design classic for decades. The motifs are depicted in authentic colors and shapes - this creates a unique charm. Here, Mother Nature has been the godmother, and four charming decors have emerged. Fleurence frames the yellow plate surface with different fruit motifs. Valence adorns a single fruit motif on a white background, framed by a yellow-green border. Vienne and Orange do not carry fruit or plant decor. However, with yellow and green, the dominant colors of the French Garden collection are captured on porcelain.
