Villeroy & Boch »Alt Luxembourg«
For an elevated, classic table culture, Villeroy & Boch offers a timeless design with the traditional and exclusive Vieux Luxembourg collection. The porcelain, known today as Alt Luxembourg, was introduced in 1770. At that time, the ceramics manufacturer "Jean-François Boch et Frères" marketed the tableware under the name Brindille-Dekor. It originates from the Rococo art era, characterized by a departure from strict symmetry and a lively, graceful line.
The Alt Luxembourg tableware features carefully placed, fine blue floral branches and has long been one of the most popular and famous porcelain series. It is therefore not surprising that there are several product lines of Villeroy & Boch Alt Luxembourg. The classic porcelain series Vieux Luxembourg impresses with cream-colored shards and gentle relief shaping. All porcelain items from Villeroy & Boch Alt Luxembourg are made of Premium Porcelain, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe.
