Swarovski x Rosenthal »Signum«
»Signum« is the name of the extravagant porcelain collection created in close collaboration between Rosenthal and Swarovski. Designed by Giovanna Engelbert, Creative Director at Swarovski, »Signum« was masterfully executed by the porcelain artists at Rosenthal. The design centers around the octagon, a symbol that plays a significant role in the history of the crystal brand and is reminiscent of classic gemstone cuts. In »Signum«, this octagon is framed with hand-painted golden accents. The resulting pattern was individually adapted for each porcelain piece.
The collection is presented in four different colors, the brand colors of Swarovski: »Signum Rose« in pink, »Signum Fern« in green, »Signum Jonquil« in yellow, and »Signum Azure« in blue. The complete range of items is available in the green color variant: In addition to conventional service pieces like plates and cups, »Signum Fern« offers a teapot in two different sizes, a coffee pot, milk jug, and sugar bowl, as well as oval platters and bowls in various sizes. Complementing this tableware collection, »Signum« also includes magnificent decorative accessories such as tiered stands, multi-part boxes, cylindrical vases, and stylish bowls.
A special feature of »Signum« is the lid knobs: A set crystal in the shape of an octagon, adorned with the engraving of the Swarovski swan, decorates the lids of pots, boxes, and bowls. The symbolic swan is also showcased as a central motif in gold on plates and selected items. To emphasize the exclusivity of the collection, each item is available in a color-coordinated, high-quality presentation box. The »Signum« collection is a skillful blend of luxury, lifestyle, and art of living. With this extraordinary porcelain, the partners Swarovski x Rosenthal have created a worthy homage to »l’art de la table« – the art and resulting pleasure of setting an opulent table.
