Cream Spoon for a Perfect Tea Experience
Over centuries, East Frisia has developed its own tea tradition, becoming an integral part of tea culture. Not only during afternoon tea time but also as a welcome gesture when visiting a guest, a cup of tea is served to this day. This custom has not only been preserved in East Frisia but has also become widespread.
To prepare a proper East Frisian tea, place a piece of rock sugar, the Kluntje, into your teacup with sugar tongs before pouring. Then fill the cup with tea and refine it with cream. The cream topping is placed on the tea with a cream spoon, which has a right-angled handle.
