Rosenthal Heritage | Turandot
The fashion designer Gianni Cinti from Italy reinterprets the history and tradition of Rosenthal: His Heritage Collection is a successful blend of history and modernity. Inspired by the opera of the same name by Giacomo Puccini, the decor »Turandot« combines Western and Eastern style elements: peony blossoms, bamboo, and ginkgo leaves in delicate colors meet golden dragonflies. These fine compositions appear like artistic paintings on a white and royal blue background. One of Cinti's journeys led him to the West Lake in Hangzhou, China. The impressions there in nature on the shore inspired the designer for the decor design for »Turandot«. The Eastern influence is also expressed in the variety of items in the collection: In addition, there are rice bowls, soup bowls, porcelain spoons, chopstick holders, and tea caddies.
All items are available in a gift box. Matching »Turandot«, gift and decoration items such as vases and bowls are also offered. The glass collection can be found in the catalog Rosenthal Heritage »Turandot Glass«.
