Rosenthal Heritage | Midas
From the Italian designer Gianni Cinti come the imaginative designs of the Rosenthal Heritage Collection. For the design »Midas«, the playful baroque Rosenthal form »Sanssouci« provides the perfect stage. A truly opulent effect, further enhanced as »Midas« is entirely in gold. While fine lines on the handles of the coffee pot and sugar bowl recall a classic gold rim, other parts of the collection appear dipped in gold. Additionally, there are items with exquisite patterns of branches and leaves. These motifs are layered on top of each other, creating a shimmering interplay between matte and glossy surfaces. The combination of these different decoration styles makes the series so appealing. The relief of the porcelain further emphasizes the sensual effect of »Midas«. This noble gold decor is named after the famous king from Greek mythology: everything Midas touched turned to gold... All items are available in a gift box.
