Kitchen Helpers »Küchenhelfer«
A cooking tool that must not be missing in any kitchen is the whisk. In the extensive Küchenprofi range, you will find – depending on the purpose – various versions of the whisk, as it is also called. In its classic form, the whisk consists of several flexible wire loops, the ends of which merge into a handle. When you stir ingredients with the whisk, they are not only mixed but also whipped or emulsified. By emulsifying – that is, vigorously whisking – you can mix liquids that normally do not combine, such as oil and vinegar for a salad dressing.
A modified form of the whisk is the plate whisk. Here, the loops are arranged on one level: this makes it easier to work flat in a plate, such as beating eggs for a coating. A spiral whisk has a U-shaped metal spiral at the end instead of wire loops. This is particularly good for stirring at the bottom of pots or in the corners of pots and bowls. A special form of the whisk is the beater whisk. It also does not have wire loops, but an elastic wire spiral at the end. With the beater whisk, you do not perform a striking motion, but rather a pounding motion from top to bottom. It is the perfect partner when it comes to dissolving powdered ingredients in liquids, such as mixing shakes or cake glazes.
The whisks from the brand Küchenprofi are made of high-quality, rust-free stainless steel. They do not absorb food odors, are durable, hygienic, and dishwasher safe.
