Fish Knife

Fish Knives for the Fine Table

Similar to a pusher, the fish knife functions as part of an upscale fish cutlery set. It has a blunt blade to prevent accidentally cutting small bones, avoiding dangerous mishaps at the table. Unlike a filleting knife, the fish knife is not used for cutting the fish apart. It easily removes the skin of the edible fish.

Due to the structure of fish meat, no special cutting performance is required. The fish cutlery on the dining table traditionally consists of a fish fork on the left side and a fish knife on the right side of the plate. The fish fork is only slightly wider than a normal fork. However, a fish knife has a wider blade than a normal knife.
