Fish Forks for the Fine Table

The shape of the fish fork originated in the 19th century. To pick up fine fish with cutlery, a wider and flatter fork shape was developed. The fish knife also changed its shape. It is not used for cutting the delicate flesh but to push the fish onto the fork. Today, it is generally common to eat fish with fish cutlery.
