Champagne Glasses
There are many moments when it simply belongs: A festive glass of champagne. For toasting at celebratory occasions, sparkling wine is the drink of choice in this country. What would a wedding, a festive reception, or a New Year's Eve party be without a glass of champagne, where speeches are made and congratulations are given?
For sparkling wines like champagne, prosecco, cava, Krimsekt, and more, there are special glasses in various shapes: The champagne coupe, the champagne flute, and the champagne tulip are well-known. The champagne coupe has, as the name suggests, a flat bowl shape. This type of glass was very popular in the 60s and 70s and is still loved by many today. The champagne flute has a tall bowl with a flared rim and resembles more of a trumpet than a flute. This tall glass shape enhances the typical effervescence of sparkling wine: You can wonderfully observe the rising of the fine carbon dioxide bubbles in the glass here. Similarly, the champagne tulip is a glass with a similarly tall bowl, but its opening tapers more narrowly. This ensures minimal loss of the sparkling carbon dioxide and also concentrates the bouquet of the drink. Your Porzellantreff has put together a large selection of different champagne glasses for you here. There is certainly something for every taste and occasion.
