Thomas »TRIC Colours«
Soft colors reminiscent of fruity ice cream give the puristic shape »TRIC« a fresh look. The »TRIC Colours« collection by Thomas surprises with four trendy pastel shades: »Lilac Cloud« evokes thoughts of yogurt-strawberry ice cream and fruity-tart rhubarb sorbet. »Rosé Smoke« is inspired by blackberry and elderberry flavors. »Lime Cream« presents itself as a light lime green or pistachio. And »Blue Fog« is surely inspired by Italian Azzurro ice cream. The items from Thomas »TRIC Colours« are fully decorated: cups and bowls are colored inside and out, and the rims of the plates also carry the color on their underside. Each shade stands alone as a soloist, and Lilac Cloud, Rosé Smoke, Lime Cream, and Blue Fog can also be combined in a mix-and-match principle.
In 1997, the Thomas »TRIC« collection (formerly Arzberg »TRIC«) was designed by Sieger-Design, Michael Sieger, and has since become a modern classic in porcelain. The minimalist design of the shape gives the porcelain »TRIC« a timeless aesthetic that has not lost its impact even decades after its market launch.
A special feature of this series is the purely conical design of the cups, which fits consistently into the design concept of »TRIC«. The characteristic plate shape also features only straight and geometric lines. This almost architectural-looking design language is typical for Thomas »TRIC«. It has also been awarded several prestigious design prizes: »TRIC« received the iF Design Award, the Red Dot Design Award, and the Design Plus award from the German Design Council.
