Thomas »Cucina Bianca«
Aesthetic understatement in porcelain, that is the form »Cucina« of the brand Thomas (formerly Arzberg). This exceptionally puristic tableware immediately catches the eye with its straightforwardness and thickness. The cups of Thomas »Cucina Bianca« are consistently conical in shape, you won't find usual curves here. The series includes cups for espresso, coffee and tea, café au lait, and a handle mug as an all-rounder for herbal tea, cocoa, or mulled wine and punch in winter.
The wall thickness of the cups is based on Italian models. Every traveler to Italy knows and appreciates the thick, heavy cups in which the caffè is served. This keeps espresso & co. hot for a long time, crema and milk foam last long on the coffee specialties, and the whole is a true delight for the palate and the eye. The cups of Thomas »Cucina Bianca« also have this functionality but pleasantly stand out from the design of traditional Italian tableware with their geometrically clear lines. Another clever item is the sugar bowl, which impresses with its multifunctionality. The lid of the bowl has a practical recess for the spoon. This way, the bowl can also be used as a container for jam, honey, parmesan, and much more. Perfect for storing and serving.
As a contrast, Hans-Wilhelm Seitz designed the bowls and dishes of »Cucina« in a hemispherical shape. This provides variety on the table set with Thomas »Cucina Bianca«, and a round shape is also more user-friendly for bowls. Those who want to set a cool, stylish accent to the pure white porcelain can combine Thomas »Cucina Colori Black« with a fine black line.

Since 2013, the traditional brand Arzberg has been part of Rosenthal GmbH. As Rosenthal simplifies its brand structure, the Arzberg forms Cucina and Tric will be managed under the Thomas brand, while the form 1382 and Joyn will be integrated into the Rosenthal label.
Through this integration, Rosenthal aims to give the four successful Arzberg forms even more internationality and visibility. The high quality and outstanding design of the collections will remain unchanged. The products will only receive a new bottom stamp.
