Wine Glasses

Wine glasses are now a basic necessity in the glass cabinet. Anyone who values a stylishly set table or enjoys entertaining guests should have at least one set of wine glasses at home. The classic wine glass is a goblet. The stem serves not only for aesthetics but also prevents the heat from the hand from affecting the contents of the glass. The bowl of white wine glasses is smaller than that of a red wine glass, as white wine is served chilled. The smaller volume allows the wine to maintain its fresh temperature longer and not warm up. The red wine goblet is larger, as contact with air is desired for red wine. It is said that the wine should "breathe." For wine connoisseurs and lovers, there are many special glasses available, almost for every type of wine. An example is the Vinum collection by the glass brand Riedel.
