Rosenthal »Junto«

Eat together, enjoy together, and celebrate life together - with Rosenthal »Junto«. The word »Junto« comes from Spanish and means »together, together«. This collection from Rosenthal brings people together as well as different materials: Fine porcelain, delightful ceramics, and warm wood are creatively combined. Due to the large selection of different articles and colors, there are countless possible variations. Everyone can put together their own personal Junto tableware from a wide variety, depending on their taste, desire, and mood.

Organic shapes and natural colors give this Rosenthal series an authentic handmade look and special charm. The names of the shades such as Alabaster, Aquamarine, Ocean Blue, Opal Green, Pearl Gray, and Soft Shell evoke associations with their role models in nature. With these colors, every style of international cooking and food culture can be staged in the best possible way. The dishes, dishes, and bowls in various shapes and sizes are multifunctional: They are suitable for muesli, porridge, and desserts, as soup bowls, salad bowls, and side dishes, for dip sauces, dressings, herbs, and spices. The »Junto« wooden serving boards, as well as large plates and platters from the porcelain and ceramic series, are perfect as trays for the bowls.

»Junto« was developed by the Italian designer duo Tonetti & Padiglione. Gianpietro Tonetti (*1958) works in his own studio TonettiDesign in Lodi mainly as a product designer. Born in Rome, Mario Padiglione (*1983) works as a freelance furniture and product designer for TonettiDesign, among others.

Rosenthal »Junto«

Rosenthal »Junto« | porcelain

The characteristic of the »Junto« porcelain collection is the filigree diamond relief, which adapts to the respective shape of the article. This relief is based on Mediterranean patterns and ornaments. It can be found alternately on the top, bottom, and outside of plates and bowls. A special color glaze results in changing light and dark shades, depending on the incidence of light and ensures a fascinating look.

Rosenthal »Junto« | Ceramic

A so-called reactive glaze gives »Junto« each ceramic article an individual appearance. Different color nuances result during firing and unique structures develop on the ceramic surface. This means that each piece is unique and underscores the handcrafted appearance of the collection.

Rosenthal »Junto« | Wood

Wooden accessories made from American white oak bring nature to the table. The trays can be perfectly combined with the »Junto« porcelain and ceramic series. As serving trays, they provide a varied and practical presentation of the small bowls and plates. Wood radiates a pleasant warmth and forms an exciting contrast to the cool porcelain and stoneware.
