Microclimate,soil and the location of this vineyard,combined with the Chardonnay grape variety and its classic method of cultivation,have for centuries made these great wines famous. They are monumental,complex,dense wines,paired with high alcohol content and moderate sweetness.

The large,round,bulbous glass shape with its wide opening controls the beverage primarily on the sour tasting tongue edge,thereby emphasizing the sweetness of the wine,which gains in breed and expression.

The fruit of the late harvested wines,the sour rust aromas from the wood in which the wine is matured,merge into a harmony. The large volume of this glass gives the full bouquet the space to show its variety and thus to appear dense,but not over-concentrated and one-dimensional.
