The name Bone China is taken from the bone and the china. Like the name already implies it consists of a high part of cattle bone ash. This porcelain is known in Europe for 200years now and is meant to be the most precious of the porcelains. It is still called the white gold. When the ingredients melt together an inimitable white shade devellops and the translucent effect comes into the foreground. A soft shine joins in and the brilliant color repitition with coloured decors is legendary. Bone China porcelain a low-temperature burnt (soft-temperature) - until max. 1350°C - so called soft porcelain although it has a very high shock resistance on the edges.
